Fern Heinig is the Principal of Minerva Consulting. She has extensive Global and US launch experience leading brand strategy and execution. Her corporate career was distinguished by a proven ability to increase value, build brands, and coach new managers. She has led the launch of two blockbusters and most recently, helped a company launch a new biologic exceeding their forecast many times over and reaching blockbuster status within 18 months.
Fern began her career as a sales representative and was rapidly promoted to Hospital Sales Representative, Sales Trainer, Division Sales Manager and Manager of Continuing Education for Sales and Marketing Managers. After managing the training department, she was asked to transfer to Marketing. She has held numerous marketing positions, starting as a Marketing Manager, and finishing her industry career as International Business Leader in Basel Switzerland. She has led brands in all stages of the lifecycle and multiple therapeutic areas.
A strong communicator, she is a skilled trainer, speaker, educator, and mentor. She consults to Global Pharma and Diagnostics on launch strategy and marketing plans development. She trains managers on building their brand plans and the principles of marketing.
Fern's hobby is wine and she is a certified oenophile. She enjoys conducting wine tasting classes for non-profits and friends.
